Welcome to Birdie! We’re so glad you’re here.   Birdie Counselling is a space for children, youth, young adults, and families to feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges and celebrate its successes. Our team of Registered Social Workers, Ellen & Emma, bring authenticity, creativity, and curiosity to every story we’re invited into. 💛  At Birdie, we support challenges such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity exploration, and family or relationship challenges. We love our work with youth and deeply value working alongside caregivers and families to strengthen connection, understanding, and support. We draw from a range of evidence-based approaches including DBT, CBT, ACT, EMDR, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, somatic and attachment-based therapies and play-based approaches to tailor support in a way that feels just right for you.  Whether you’re reaching out for yourself, your child, or your family, we’re honoured to be considered as part of your village. We welcome your story and look forward to meeting you and/or your child when the time is right!  Please note: Ellen is not accepting new clients at this time
