There aren't nearly enough opportunities in our lives in which we can show up unfiltered: where we don't have to have it all together, and where we don't need to explain ourselves or be who others need us to be. Therapy is a unique relationship in which it truly is all about you. You don't need to worry about being boring, insensitive, or taking up too much space. Your needs, your struggles, and your stories are taken seriously. While you are the focus of our exploration in therapy, I also bring my genuine self to my sessions. Therapy feels like so much more than an appointment: it's a deeply human encounter. My curiosity and care for my clients help me connect to the person beneath the stories and masks we carry.
