## In their own words

Daniel is a Registered Physiotherapist with over a decade of experience helping people recover from injury, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love. He works with active adults, recreational athletes, endurance athletes, and individuals managing musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative recovery, and persistent pain. Daniel believes great physiotherapy begins with understanding the person behind the injury. His goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to help patients understand why they are experiencing pain, build confidence in their bodies, and develop the tools needed for long-term success. His treatment approach combines exercise prescription, movement assessment, patient education, and manual therapy. Daniel believes exercise is the foundation of rehabilitation and lifelong health, but the best program is one that fits the individual's goals, lifestyle, and needs. He uses hands-on treatment as a tool to reduce symptoms, improve movement confidence, and help guide a personalized rehabilitation plan. Daniel has a special interest in clinical problem-solving and enjoys working with patients who have complex or persistent injuries. He has experience treating sports injuries, running and cycling injuries, neck and back pain, shoulder and knee injuries, tendon disorders, post-operative rehabilitation, concussion, vestibular conditions, chronic pain, and TMJ dysfunction. Daniel completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen's University and is a Clinical Instructor with Queen's University's Master of Science in Physical Therapy program, where he mentors physiotherapy students and practicing clinicians. He continues to pursue advanced education to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's goals. His ultimate goal is simple: to help people understand their bodies, move with confidence, and continue doing the activities that make life meaningful.
