I am a Registered Social Worker and Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have been practicing in Fort McMurray for the past 25 years and have a passion for the therapeutic process. I offer a person-centred, non-judgmental approach, while using a variety of modalities including Emotionally Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, EMDR, and Mindfulness-Based Approaches. I support clients on their life journey in dealing with complex mental health struggles, life transitions, family issues, etc. I have training and experience in working with couples on rebuilding trust and enhancing the connection in their relationship. I also offer recovery support services for those who have/are struggling with substance use/abuse. Through providing a safe, supportive therapeutic environment, I strive to help clients achieve their goals and renew their strength.
