## In their own words

Hi, I'm Plamena; or Plum for short! I specialize in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), focusing on solutions rather than problems with my clients. I am passionate about helping you achieve your goals and find ultimate success, whatever that means to you.  Based in Vancouver, BC, where I grew up, I also have roots in Bulgaria where I was born. This, along with my love for travel, allows me to bring diverse experiences and perspectives into my practice. Prior to counselling, I had a career in the film industry, working with actors, directors, producers, and crew. This experience was a great training ground for my counselling career as I worked with many unique individuals and personalities. Today, I enjoy traveling, working out, and nurturing my mind, body, and soul! As a Master’s level MA in the Counselling Psychology practicum program at Yorkville University, I practice under the clinical supervision of an approved practicum supervisor.  I look forward to working with you!
