“Oh nooooo!! Another corporate takeover!! I just found out that Academy Dental is administrated since September 2023 by the Passion Dental Group based out of Calgary, a fact that never is and was publicly advertised or shared by staff! We the patients have been kept in the dark about this! I am so sorry for the remaining staff at Academy Dental I grew very fond of. Please stay strong during these trying times!😪 Edit: did a bit more digging and found more very unsettling information: Passion Dental Group are funded and owned by LightBay Capital, a prominent mid-market private equity firm based in Los Angeles. This means their ultimate financial goal is driven by private equity investment returns. Stefan Horsky, the CEO of Passion Dental is a veteran of the healthcare corporate consolidation space. Before Passion Dental Group, he led the corporate expansion and eventual massive strategic sale of VCA Canada, Canada’s largest veterinary clinic conglomerate. “Everyone is really wonderful here. The reception staff is friendly and welcoming. They are flexible with scheduling, the dentist and dental assistants are patient and care about my concerns, and I have always been very happy with the work they have done. They figure out everything for me to use my dental coverage and are consistently professional. I have seen all three dentists here and have been happy with all of them.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Right from the front desk Sarah and Elena are beyond awesome, kind, compassionate and funny:) My Dentist “Dr Wade” Salchert assisted me on a long weekend with a presc of antibiotics and painkillers “checking in with me everyday!” Just had my extraction and Dr Wade and assistant Charlie Definitely get 5 GOLD stars!!! For service kindness and compassion. They both knew I had high anxiety so they went realllly slow and constantly reassuring and checking in on how I was doing! Will be referring everyone I know to DR WADE and Charlie at Academy Dental- THANK YOU Dr Wade, Charlie, and staff for the BEST CARE I have ever had. “I traveled to Victoria and needed an emergency dental care. I called Academy Dental and they scheduled me asap. Dr. Wade saw me; he was exceptional! Inspected the area and explained the situation and path forward. The staff from office to nurses was also great!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“The clinic and staff are very professional, friendly, and welcoming. They are always responsive, provide quick service, and are easy to reach whenever needed. Dr. Amirali Hassani is my dentist, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. He is an exceptional person, professional, responsible, honest, and very knowledgeable. “I had another great experience at Academy Dental. I went in expecting my upper wisdom tooth to be removed because the cavity was quite deep, but the dentist was able to treat it with a filling instead. The whole procedure took about 30 minutes, but honestly felt like half that time. What really stood out was how comfortable everything was, I felt no pain at all. The dentist and assistant were very kind, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease. Even the calm background music helped me relax to the point where it didn’t feel like a dental procedure at all. I’ve had fillings done here before, and just like last time, everything went smoothly. Recovery has also been easier than expected. I had less numbness and could talk normally much sooner. Really grateful for the care and professionalism. Highly recommend!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“hands down 100% recommend. Dr. Hassani is very good at making you feel at ease and him and his team are both very sweet and take their profession and your experience very seriously! I never once felt like I doubted his skill as well, he makes it look and feel easy while also being professional, and if he isn’t satisfied he will work until you get the best result!! you will not regret coming here :) Edit: I forgot to mention, for anyone nervous about the dentist, even during what is normally uncomfortable procedures, the team was constantly checking in on my comfort, and even though they kept telling me it may be a bit uncomfortable I want to say I didn’t feel a thing and Dr. Hassani is very skilled and I didn’t even know when he had started :)”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Super warm, friendly and human staff. They got me in same day for an emergency exam. Dr. Hassani was thorough, communicated and informed me very clearly of my options moving forward.
