“I saw Dr. Jolene Benham today , and Bonnie, for two extractions. It was completely painless, I did ask for lots of freezing, which she obliged. We three laughed throughout the whole procedure!! “Without question this office gets 5/5 stars!!! Dr. Dan repaired my veneer for me today and did an absolute amazing job!!! His awesome DA was very friendly and put me at ease from the second she greeted me. Last but not least, the lovely girl at the front desk got me in within a couple of days of calling, which I greatly appreciated!!!…not just for an X-ray and exam, but same day service!!!! “I am new to Duncan and didn't have a dentist. I woke up Monday morning after being pain all weekend from who knows what. I called first thing, they were able to book me an emergency appointment before noon. I showed up and turns out the nerve in my tooth was dying. I explained that I was flying to a remote camp for work the following day. Dr. Jolene Benham & her assistant (I'm so sorry, I can't remember her name!) gave up their lunches to drill into the tooth to relieve the pressure to get me through my shift and reception booked me in for a root canal when I get back. The fact that they got a NON patient in THAT morning & gave up their lunch to ease my pain is incredible. The doctor, assistant and receptionist went above and beyond that day. “Dr. Benham saw me today as an emergency patient to put in two crowns after the temporary crown made just before the office closed for the pandemic broke. The appointment was made even though the office wasn't fully open. Even though Alderlea Dental wasn't given much notice by the province, Jolene has been extremely busy putting together an impressive array of precautions in place, I was made to feel completely safe. While the office was closed Jolene checked in on me a few times, the bedside manner was second to none. “This clinic put on a terrific charitable day in April for oral cancer screening for the public. Had no idea where I stood before that, but was very happy to be checked out so that it now doesn't worry me. Dr. Benham was quietly professional and efficient on this jam packed day in that clinic, and I will absolutely go back to her for my future dentistry. Apparently, she and her team provided free screenings to 75 local residents that day! She had her entire family helping out for this event - nice to see that a family dental practice isn't a thing of the past.
