“Such a great experience with Dakota! They were so kind and I felt super comfortable and relaxed the whole massage. I felt very listened to during the pre massage medical history chat too! “I’ve been coming to Allies for awhile now for acupuncture and have had a really great experience. I see Janna for both anxiety/stress and physical concerns, and the results have been consistently positive. I was immediately impressed by how welcoming the environment is and the depth of care. Janna is thorough and methodical in her treatments, while also being incredibly positive and friendly. She always takes the time to explain the “why” and “how” behind each session, which I really appreciate. Beyond the acupuncture itself, which has helped a lot, Janna has also shared breathing techniques and other practical tools that I now use in my daily life. “Hello world! This place is changing my life. I thank every single person who had a part in making this place a reality. As a gender fluid transgender man who happens to be a full time nurse with a background in RMT and Bodyworker I would recommend this place to everyone but especially those who found the same or similar reality as me. Feeling safe does not come easy for me for many reasons one being CPTSD, I feel safe here so the healing takes better hold I think. These folks are doing to work that I just can’t do on my own or with those who don’t consider my specific needs as a person, believe me I tried. As a community we need to take care of them just as much as they take care of us. Please, book in even a free consultation and you will see what I mean. Take care out there and all the best. Also, shout if to Dakota, they have just started their career as a RMT and are actually helping me resolve the pain related to my back problems I have been experiencing since the age of 16. And yes, despite being an RMT/Bodyworker and a nurse, other practitioners I worked with didn’t hear me, they has it’s a game changer. Everyone has been amazing Dr.Jenna, Janna TCM, Dakota RMT and Danny at reception have been some of the most genuine, kind and safe folks I have ever been treated by. I have worked with A LOT in my almost 40years both professionally and as a client. This place is different in the best way possible. Anyways, enough raving if not full on rambling…yay, ADHD. “Allies is an amazing place to go for treatment. It is full of colorful art, offers hot tea, and everyone is always warm and friendly! I’ve had several excellent massage appointments with Dakota there. They are professional, kind, and knowledgeable and have done really good work on my neck, rotator cuff, and low back.
