“It felt more like a spa! The staff are incridbly kind and helpful and Dr. Rojin is a delight. She was extremely knowledgeable and kind. They explained everything to me very well and were so accommodating. I had such a good experience I might just overdose on candies and destroy my teeth just so I can visit them again! “Over the weekend, a big chunk of one of my fillings came out, and I honestly thought I had broken half my tooth. I started panicking because my regular dentist was out of town and completely booked for the following week. What confused me even more was that the filling was only about eight months old, so I wasn't expecting it to fail so soon. I was lucky enough to get an emergency appointment with Dr. Karla, and I'm so glad I did. She saw me today and replaced the filling quickly and effortlessly. Throughout the entire appointment, she and her assistant were so kind and reassuring. They explained everything before they did it, which I really appreciated because I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist due to past experiences. The whole team made me feel comfortable from start to finish. The reception staff were friendly, answered all my questions, and got everything sorted quickly. They even have free parking in the back, which is such a nice bonus these days. I'm really grateful for how well they took care of me. While the office is very professional and modern, I do not feel as though they have tried to push any interventions or sell me on unnecessary products. “Great experience from beginning to end. I had a part of my dental sealant chip and fall off, exposing a side of my tooth, and had to get it repaired. I called several dental practices to look into options but none like Arbutus North Dental. From the moment I got in touch with Grace I was welcomed and listened to. The team worked around providing solutions and helping me by arranging an appointment on the very same day (!! so rare in Vancouver), and worked around my schedule. Grace helped me by providing several quotes and explaining their differences. When I went into the appointment, Dr. Ida was absolutely the best. Herself and Dari were incredibly professional and agile. They explained procedures and always provided options. They worked efficiently but it did not feel rushed. Truly, an exceptional, professional and caring team. I could not recommend them enough, I really felt like they cared about patients and their experience. “Arbutus North Dental, I went in for a cleaning, and without much explanation they went ahead and did X-rays. Normally, that’s fine—but if you know insurance won’t fully cover it, you need to be upfront about that before doing the procedure. Instead, they waited until everything was done, handed me the bill, and then casually explained that my insurance only covers X-rays every three years. That’s not something patients should find out after the fact. Transparency shouldn’t be optional—it’s basic professionalism. It didn’t stop there. I also ordered a night guard, and when I picked it up, they just handed it to me—no instructions, no guidance, nothing. For something you’re supposed to use properly every night, that’s unacceptable. Honestly, this is one of the worst-run dental clinics I’ve experienced. The only thing they have going for them is the convenient location—and clearly, they’re relying on that instead of good service.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I switched to Arbutus North Dental after some bad experiences with my previous clinic that had increased my dental anxiety a lot. The whole team at Arbutus North are super friendly from the moment you arrive and their space is calm and welcoming. I expected to be really nervous but I wasn’t, Dr Scarlett put me at ease straight away and her treatment suggestions were clear, necessary (not at all pushy) and will prioritise my main issue so I feel good about that. Neha was so kind and the clean was the most gentle I’ve ever experienced. I even almost fell asleep. Honestly this was the best experience I’ve ever had, and considering it was my first time there I thought it may take longer to get to that point. It’s also the first time I’ve not cried so that’s a big win! “This review is for anyone considering this dental office — please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. My experience here was extremely concerning. The office felt poorly run, disorganized, unprofessional, and profit-driven rather than about providing quality patient care. I was overdiagnosed, overbilled, and did not feel I received proper or ethical care. The management could care less, so don’t bother. As other reviews mention, there is a heavy focus on production numbers and pushing Invisalign instead of addressing actual dental health needs. I felt rushed, unheard, and honestly taken advantage of. The staff are confused, and there are constantly new faces at the office, which made it appear as though the turnover was extremely high. You likely will never see the same dentist or hygienist twice, how is that for stability or consistency?! That alone is a major red flag and explains a lot about my experience. I will never return and strongly recommend choosing a different dental office. Edit: Watch your wallet and receipts carefully!!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Staff always friendly and very helpful. Smiling and accommodating your every need. Dental hygienist think her name was Alma was very gentle and thorough. Always checking in with me to make sure I knew what she was doing and will be doing. Making recommendations, kind and polite with her instructions for my future care. Facility has parking, a huge plus and is always immaculately clean and tidy. A dentist being a pleasure to visit is rare , these ladies pull it off every time.
