“I had oral surgery to remove 4 of my wisdom teeth 6 days ago. I went to the Barrhaven location. I was given antibiotics, and a T3 prescription to manage the pain. My experience so far has been one of extreme pain however, I tried for the last 6 days (was told 4 days recovery) to manage the pain with over the counter pain meds. Instead of getting better, my pain has only gotten worse due a complication known as dry sockets that causes extreme pain in my mouth, jaw, and temple due to exposed nerves. At this point I called the doctor who performed my surgery to request a stronger pain medication so that I could eat again and resume my adult responsibilities. I was told they would not prescribe me anything stronger because of the opioid crisis. While I understand opiates are not the first line of treatment for pain, when over the counter pain meds no longer function to provide pain relief, other alternatives should be explored. No other options were explored, I was told good luck. As a patient, I feel severely neglected after explaining my circumstances to the dental professionals and being told it would be a long and painful healing process yet being denied any assistance with pain management. I am an adult, who is not only aware, but formally educated and trained in addiction treatment. The risk of addiction after a few days of opioid use is known to be very low. The risk is worth taking in order to manage my pain and be able to feed myself again. There was no addiction screening provided, yet I have been generalized as at risk of addiction. I see this as a complete lack of understanding from professionals who should know better. My pain was acknowledged, yet help was denied. Please do not have a procedure done here and talk to your surgeon about options for pain medication before you get your wisdom teeth extracted. Now off I go to my family doctor to actually get cared for. Painfully, Erica”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Paying upfront is ridiculous beside overpriced service. We have to pay first before they even started the surgery for my son’s wisdom tooth. I would never recommend your clinic.”

“What an unprofessional office. Got in quickly in Orleans for the consultation (which was a joke, nothing but 10 second glance in his mouth) but booking 3 months away. That's fine, that's usually how it is. But in the 3 weeks since we booked, it got changed 4 times! I Evan accepted to gonto different locations to avoid being canceled again. I asked for a different dr and I was told I would need an other consultation. Why? they have the x-rays. I very rudely hung up, refused their call, and dis not waste my time listening to their voice-mail. I am looking somewhere else. I will come share that review. AVOID THIS PLACE.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I was referred by my family dentist for my wisdom teeth and the same day Argyle Associates reached out to me & booked me in for my consultation the same week. Dr. Mcguire did my surgery and took me in ASAP when i called 3 days later with concerns that i washed out my blood clot. He was so kind, amazing and so funny. I felt so comfortable with him & he played some tunes during the sedation making me feel so much calmer. Dr.Mcguire fixed me up right away when i arrived at his clinic in severe pain. He took me very serious and acted quickly. I would 100% recommend going to see Dr. Mcguire for wisdom teeth removal.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“First they’re over priced, second they’re work is horrible, third once they have your money they don’t care about you once you walk out that door. My boyfriend had his wisdom teeth pulled coming up to 2 weeks ago, all of his stitches came out within 8 hours of surgery. It was doing ok till the holes completely opened up and you can now see his jaw bone. Call their emergency number they squeeze him in for an appointment that was supposed to be at 1:15 he didn’t actually get seen till 3:30. Once in the room to be assessed the dentist doesn’t even look at his issues just packs it and tells him it’ll take a month to health. I wouldn’t send my dog there.”Lire la suiteRéduire
