“I've been seeing Dr. Chen for acupuncture since late last year for several issues. My most pressing problem was dyshidrotic eczema on my fingers which was a persistent issue that was unresolved with typical western treatment of steroid cream and moisturizer (it was a recurrent problem for over 6 years). After seeing Dr. Chen for 2 months it started to improve and at 5 months now it's back to 95% normal. “Beijing Tong Ren Tang has been transformational to my health. I suffer from a chronic condition that is one of the hardest to treat. Dr. Jieli Chen is an incredibly skilled TCM practioner and has a wide breadth of knowledge. She also takes extended insurance! “My dad is elderly and sick, and we felt we had no choice but to seek help from this Chinese medical practice. Since he can’t travel back to China for treatment, we were hoping to find a trustworthy place locally. Unfortunately, our experience here was extremely disappointing. They charge $30 for a consultation, but the appointment was incredibly short and felt rushed. There was barely any time spent actually assessing my dad’s condition, yet they were very quick to push a prescription. The biggest issue was the cost of the medicine. The prescription they tried to sell us was over $400, which is outrageous considering the exact same herbs could easily be ordered and shipped from China for much cheaper. It felt like they were taking advantage of patients who may not know the market price. What made the situation even worse was that when we asked to take the prescription home instead of buying the herbs from them, they demanded an extra $65 just to give us the prescription. Charging patients just to keep their own prescription is extremely unethical. Overall, the experience felt very money-focused rather than patient-focused. The consultation was rushed, the medicine was overpriced, and there were hidden fees just to access the prescription. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone, especially families with elderly patients who are simply looking for honest medical care.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Great place for post-accident recovery. They offer 12 acupuncture and 12 RMT treatments covered by ICBC. The best part is that they handle the insurance claim directly, so you don't have to worry about the paperwork!”

“Great experience with Dr. Chen. She is professional, bilingual (Cantonese/English), and very precise with her treatments. Despite being younger than most TCM doctors, her expertise is evident.
