“Dr. Park is an amazing acupuncturist and human being. He is kind, attentive, and can get to root causes of pain better than anyone else I've ever experienced. I strained a bunch of muscles in my shoulder/rotator cuff and thought my arm was going to be toast for months, but no, it's been a couple of weeks and I'm well on my way to back to normal. “I brought my partner here after having such a wonderful experience with Dr. Park for multiple acupuncture sessions. He is extremely skilled, kind and he has helped both our pain disappear after only a couple sessions each! We have seen many professionals for our respective pain/areas with little to no resolution until we started seeing Dr. Park regularly. “I had a fracture in my left kneecap about one and half years ago, but even after all this time, I was still experiencing pain, especially when pressing on the area. I have seen a physiotherapist and I work out regularly, but there still lingering discomfort. Today, I visited Dr. Park for the first time for acupuncture treatment, and I was honestly amazed. Without me saying much, Dr. Park was able to pinpoint the exact spot where I was feeling pain — it was incredibly accurate. After just one session, the pain hasn’t completely disappeared, but it has significantly reduced. I plan to continue visiting for regular treatments. I got a lower back pain issue after heavy weight training, but I am very satisfied with the treatment. “Before visiting Healing Acupuncture, I was going through a lot of arm pain and weakness. I considered my right arm completely hopeless after numerous visits to physiotherapy and a bunch of xrays. My girlfriend recommended me to visit Healing acupuncture on Hastings, Burnaby and are first I was really afraid that my arm pain would get worse from this treatment. As I walked in, everyone was nice to me and treated me really well. The office and treatment room was very sanitized and during my treatment, the doctor made sure he cleaned up properly. It was clear that I was being treated by a trained specialist because every visit, I was coming back with less pain than I had in the beginning. “Since I went here, thanks to the doctor, the quality of my life has been so much better! “My experience at this clinic has been nothing less than amazing. I started seeking treatment from Joe within the past year. First for minor shoulder pain. I even referred my husband for sciatica pain in his back. The both of us agreed that we felt the treatments were quite effective after just a few visits. After a few months, I went back to seek treatment for infertility. Joe is such a great listener and has an extremely positive and welcoming vibe which always made it comfortable for me to express my very personal health concerns. I felt calm, cared for and supported by him throughout each visit. Booking appointments by phone was easy and availability was never a problem to fit my busy schedule (they have very good operating hours). My private health insurance also recognizes Joe as a valid Acupuncturist under my paramedical benefits which made getting reimbursed back for my claims very fast with no problem (I do know the clinic is able to direct bill certain insurance companies). With the help of IVF, the regular treatments I received from Joe and personal commitment on my part to stay positive, I am happy to have recently received a positive pregnancy result confirmed by my doctor! My point is, Acupuncture as alternative treatment may not be for everyone... but what I can personally say is that my growing family could not be possible without the unique care and attention I received from this clinic.
