“Compassionate, Patient-Centered Dental Care and Accommodation I exist in this world with killer anxiety and a variety of other mental health challenges that make seeking dental care challenging. I am so grateful to the folks at dr. Chenail’s office for their kindness and how hard they’ve worked to make dental care possible for me. They’ve accommodated me in literally every way. What follows is exactly how far they’ve gone for me. Appointment Time Accommodation: I was given a short-notice cleaning appointment, which gave my anxiety no pre-game opportunity to bloom. Sensory Accommodation: I was paired with a new-to-me hygienist who was lighthearted and kind. She worked quickly and engaged in conversation that I directed. She communicated her needs clearly and teased me in a way that satisfied my need for gentle levity. What we joked about as her “tickling, poking, and ignoring me” was really sensory accommodation. She helped me manage my overwhelm by checking in, making adjustments to the tools/water and keeping everything else low-stim so I could focus and breathe. Booking Accommodations: The MOA and I agreed on a new booking arrangement where she will book my next set of work but won’t tell me the day/time until 48 hours before, preventing the lead-up stress load but still giving me time to rebook anything already in that time slot. Accommodating Next Steps: The dentist offered a way to do the work I need in a way that will be less taxing. She teased me gently and did her work quickly but thoughtfully allowing me to get out of there as quickly as possible. A Note of Gratitude: I am forever grateful for the folks at Dr. Chenail’s clinic for meeting me where I am at. They’ve always cared for me but we’ve struggled to find ways to make the experience less stressful. After trial and error, I believe we’ve arrived. Thank you!!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“If you've ever had a bad experience at a veterinary clinic, well this is how I would describe this place. Probably the worst dental experience I've ever had... totally unlike Valley Dental Clinic where the level of professionalism is vastly far superior and actually does a REAL examination...so unlike Dr. Chenille who can't even spot an blatantly obvious cavity!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“10 out of 10. The best dentist I've ever been to. The whole process from calling and booking an appointment to getting checked in, the teeth cleaning, dental restoration work. Everything is just 10 out of 10. They make everything easy and painless. Will definitely continue to come here and highly recommend everyone else does as well”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Best Dentist in Chilliwack! I have been to many in the fraser valley and Dr. Isabelle and her teams are solid. I always feel welcome and they will never rush me out the door like I am a product on an assembly line like other dentists do. I appreciate their friendliness and professionalism.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Best dentist I’ve ever had, the team is very professional and the office is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Love the purple gloves, you can tell they pay attention to small details. Very thorough and job well done, tooth came out in like 20 seconds with no issues.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I did not appreciate seeing my wisdom teeth in my take home bag with gauze and aftercare instructions. Seeing them made me throw up and i would reccommend you actually ask the patient in the future, whether or not they want their discarded teeth.”
