“My 8 year old daughter was having trouble seeing the board at school. I called the CBS location and got her in fairly quickly. Dr. Kielly was very helpful and answered any questions we had. We then picked out two pairs of glasses with the help of Mike Drake who was very professional and knew what he was doing. She had her glasses in no time with the help of Mike. Would highly recommend going here. Process was easy from checking in, getting the eye exam and picking out her glasses. Very pleased. Thanks Mike for going above and beyond!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“It took months to get my glasses replaced (they were under warranty). When I finally got them, they didn’t have thin lenses I’d had in the original pair. I requested a copy of my prescription to be emailed to me weeks ago and they just keep saying, “Yeah, we’ll get to it.” Still no prescription. Cowan’s was happy to take the thousands of dollars my family and I have spent there over the years. When it comes to customer service that won’t make them money it’s a different story. “3 months of frustration with the Bay Roberts Branch, receptionist was very friendly and the initial appointment of getting my eyes checked was fine, it went downhill from there! 4 times my lenses were ordered wrong, twice the wrong lenses were ordered. Twice more someone else’s lenses were put in my frames, another time my new lenses were apparently sent to the wrong store yet weren’t retrieved so they had to order another set( I believe they just weren’t ordered)! Today I finally got my lens , asked the guy not to dispose of my old lens just in case they were wrong again, guess he wasn’t listening because he threw them away! Asked to speak to manager, nobody seemed to know who the manager was? Always dealt with Cowans on Topsail Rd with great service, I’m so disappointed with the Bay Roberts branch !!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“If you're looking for a great place to get glasses for yourself or your kids, this is the place. The service at the CBS location has been amazing. They will go above and beyond for you. “My daughter had her eyes tested this summer at the Corner Brook location just before she went away to work, she would get her glasses when she came back in the fall. So in the mean time while away she needed to get glasses because they got broken, so since she wasn’t close to CB she had to get them where she was so she called the office to get her prescription emailed to her, twice that morning, no response, they said they were too busy but I happened to be in CB that day and close to the office so I went in about 10 minutes after she made her last call, the store was empty except for the 4 employees, so I asked for her prescription and waited and that’s when I overheard the blond employee talking about my daughter to another employee “ I’m not making no rush sending that prescription to her, she’s not getting her glasses here anyway “ well let’s just say I said “ excuse me” and I let them have it. After wearing glasses for nearly 40 years I’ve dealt with a lot of businesses and this has got to be absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced. After spending $1500 already this year in glasses for me and the wife I said I’ll never spend another cent there and walked out, I did get the prescription though. Don’t get me wrong the Dr’s are great, this was just the blond employee who made it bad for the rest of them. I DO NOT recommend this place.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Recently had my eyes tested at the Corner Brook location. The Dr McIntosh was very patient and took time to answer all my questions! I had only had my glasses a few days and had a mishap. I ran into the CB location shortly before closing and they had me fixed up and back out the door before closing!! Exceptional service!!!”Lire la suiteRéduire
