“I’ve been going to this dental office pretty much my whole life with no problems. I had a fairly last minute appointment today to look at a tooth that’s been bothering me. I saw Dr Jenya and left feeling pretty violated and deeply disappointed. I multiple times asked for information on the procedure and for what the after care instructions would be and he said “don’t worry about it” and “I’ll tell you after”. I asked the same questions multiple times and made it clear the answers impacted my decision, yet I was pushed into “just getting it done”. There was no consent form for me to sign even when I asked, he said it “didn’t really matter”. There was no way I could have given informed consent because all of my questions were shut down. He gave no countdown and little warning before injecting needles in my mouth. Dr Jenya multiple times asked the hygienist how a tool worked. After the procedure, my questions were still largely unanswered. He told me to just read the piece of paper I was given. At the end of the appointment, I asked what the pain management was going to be, and he said Advil which I said usually doesn’t work for my sensitive stomach, so I asked what alternatives I could use. I was then prescribed 30 T3’s (with codeine). I am someone with a history of substance abuse and was blindly over prescribed opioids. (Sober, but could have been catastrophic for my recovery). I felt suspicious about this and asked my pharmacist if it would interact with my Naltrexone, and he said that no doctor that has that info on file should ever prescribe opioids. Not only would they not work but they would have made me incredibly sick. This was one of the many questions Dr Jenya refused to answer. Long story short, I did not feel as though I could consent because I had a very limited idea of what was going to happen, and seemingly so did he. I will say- the hygienist and receptionists are nice enough to make this a 2 star review instead of one. I will never go back to this dentist.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Dr.Li is a really good Dentist. She is efficient and explained my options for care right away. Once we discussed and agreed on a course of action she immediately set her team in motion and within minutes I was getting the dental care I needed. “Dr Lee is really good however the front line girls are very rude . They are no compassionate. I was going to get my wisdom teeth removed so I was a bit scared. I was expecting them a bit more understanding. Anyways really bad experience.”

“I absolutely love the hygienist Eva, she was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she wonderful to converse with, she was kind, professional and experienced enough to un-reccomend the PERIO referral I received from previous dental office, (more on that topic later) as she is capable and able to do the cleans herself. The dentist who examined me was also very kind and comforting. I do have treatment anxiety and I try my best. I was very frustrated with my previous dental office after attending for a few years. No complaints about the dentists they were all great, especially the ones who saw my kids. Some of the hygienists were rude, displayed low key unprofessional attitudes, speaking and behaving with the attitude that they are above or equal to the dentist. I had to walk out of one appointment because the hygienist was hurting me consistently and when I requested topical pain gel "she would need another appointment to book with more time to do that..." yet at other appointments, it was provided in the beginning no issues? One hygenist had fabricated herself into a hissy fit and refused to do my cleaning, because she didnt like "my attitude" When I questioned (non aggressively, no tone - no profanity) 'why we needed to re-spell out all my medications - if nothing had changed?' I was then escorted out of the office like a terrorist making bomb threats. This was the catalyst for me to cancel my families account and switch to CRESTA. So, if you enjoy 20 year Old hygienists acting like they know it all, and throwing hissy fits to refuse the service, because you as a patient have the audacity to ask a question... check out parkway in langford. Cresta's hygienists so far, have been a night and day difference; kindness, good work ethic and professionalism. “I used to go to a Dentist that instead of helping me with my dental issues, would shame me if I said I was unable to afford the Dental work. And the work this other Dentist did, was not what I had been told would be done. Then I found Cresta Dental and they were kind, helpful, professional, and most of all tried to find a solution for me to afford my Dental work needed instead of lecturing me, and shaming me. They took me in as a client and have helped me so much to find a good solution to my Dental health problems. I enjoy visiting their office and would not go anywhere else now.
