Dr. Matt Wong is a phenomenal doctor and such a welcome addition to the Valley! I went to see him for a mystery shoulder injury with very painful movements (possible start of frozen shoulder). This injury was negatively impacting my life in so many ways and was slowly getting worse. My goal was to be pain-free and to get back into the gym for strength training and I am so glad to say that I have achieved this goal. Dr. Wong bills as a chiropractor, but is so much more than that. I would say he is more of a rehabilitation doctor. His background as a personal trainer and chiropractor, his extensive knowledge of anatomy, his ability to teach and answer questions, and his inquisitive mindset to adjust the therapy and rehab with each session kept me fully engaged in the rehabilitation process. He makes it clear that the more you, the patient, are committed to the at home exercises and program, the more he can do in the in-person session. I can honestly say that I was shocked at how quickly I progressed. With every session I saw improvements. It was exciting and motivating and it took only 8 session to achieve my goals. I highly recommend Dr. Matt Wong. Not only did I finish feeling stronger, but I also left with confidence that I now know movements and exercises that I can do at home if I feel my shoulder starts to act up again. A single word to describe my first session with Mrs. Leanne Wong: blown away. After 30 years of treatments with all kinds of therapists (osteopaths, chiropractors, physiotherapists, acupuncturists), I have never experienced anything like this. I’m very active, I love sports, and occasionally I get injured… My request was clear: I want to understand the foundations of my dysfunction so I can be as autonomous as possible and stop injuring myself so frequently. After running different physical assessments, Leanne suggested that we work together through targeted exercises, emphasizing breathing engagement, rib positioning, and many other elements (I’ll spare you the novel). I’ve been living with left sacroiliac pain — from painful to very painful — 24/7 for two months, depending on my posture. This morning, I stood up with no pain for the first time. Leanne Wong is nothing short of a magician, thanks to her exceptional understanding of the body and how it truly functions. July 2025 I have been treated by Dr Matthew Wong since Feb of this year. So grateful for his deep knowledge, sports and exercise training program and rehabilitation recovery steps that have moved me from a very high level of pain down to little or no pain and increase my nightly hours of much needed sleep. In just a few short months I have been amazed at how quickly this change has happened. Daily diligent focus on his excellent programs has definitely been an important key in speeding up my recovery.
