“I remember feeling ashamed and scared to meet Alex for the first time. I was concerned about my daughter’s movement and I was worried I was failing her. However, within minutes of walking through Alex’s door, I felt more at ease. Alex is vibrant and energetic, but she also has such a calming presence about her. Not only is she an incredibly skilled physiotherapist (we started seeing improvement in my daughter after one appointment following exercises Alex taught us), she’s also a wonderful human being. Alex consistently goes above and beyond to make sure my daughter is supported, appropriately challenged and cared for. She manages to make physio fun for even the tiniest humans. My daughter absolutely loves seeing her to the point she immediately beelines for Alex’s door when we arrive! What has meant just as much to me is that Alex always takes the time to check in on me too. She understands that supporting a child also means supporting their parent. Her kindness, reassurance and thoughtful approach have made such a difference. We feel incredibly lucky to have Alex in our daughter’s corner.
