“Boxing Day, and my reading glasses had loosened to the point where a lens fell out and was difficult to put back in. “I’ve been seeing Dr Brent Allen for a very long time. He’s awesome!! Recently I had an eye injury that happened Friday night while in Alberta. I knew that going to the ER was pointless for this. I called first thing on Monday and I saw Dr Katie Markin. She was so amazingly gentle and caring. My eye injury was quite serious but she was able to surgically clean up the abrasion and put a contact lens ‘bandage’ on my cornea. She saw me two more times that week. My treatment was painless. Her level of compassion and care was extraordinary. The whole staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and cared for.
