“I have been going to FYI for many years for exams, glasses, treatments, etc. For a good part of those years my Optometrist was Dr. Patterson. When she retired I hoped that I could find someone like her, as I felt so comfortable with her and she was a fantastic Optometrist. I didn’t have to worry for long as I hit the jackpot when I started seeing Dr. Kerry Bishop. Not only is she excellent at her job, but she’s warm, kind, generous and compassionate. I have currently started doing treatments for Dry Eye at FYI. Several years before I had done similar treatments with an Opthamologist who made the treatments very uncomfortable and painful. Anastasia, at FYI, has made the procedure pain-free and I find they are actually quite relaxing. “I’m a new client to FYi. My old glasses from another company had just broken and FYi was able to get me an emergency appointment the next day. Everyone was so fast and kind, the service was amazing. While I was picking out new frames with Rachelle, my old glasses broke again. I was freaking out about not being able to see, but Courtney found me a spare frame they had and they were generous enough to pop my old lenses in. I’m so grateful that Courtney and Rachelle came to my rescue and made sure I could get back to work safely and have a pair to use while I wait for my new ones. Rachelle went out of her way to make sure I had any applicable discounts, as I had just bought glasses the year prior and they weren’t covered under warranty at my previous dispensary. They were incredibly kind and reassuring, especially when I couldn’t see. I personally had a scary situation with my eye and she went above and beyond to find out what was causing the issue and do everything possible to make sure I was taken care of. “Front desk check in was done efficiently. Dr Fredlund was very busy and quick to apologize but I found no issues with it. He gave me the same attention and was not rushed. Ellen fitted me with a new pair of glasses, was thorough and honest , very professional. She found and applied a discount from my benefits page before I was even aware of it. She changed the nose pads quickly on my current glasses as I mentioned I would have that done before I left their office. “This was my family eye place since I was a kid. However my last pair of frames have been nothing but problems. I've always just got the cheap frames, worried about damaging costly ones.. However I was convinced to buy these expensive carbon fibre ray bans. Stating "carbon fiber is so strong you wont have to worry about them breaking. I thought, okay I am a adult I care for my stuff, I can buy my first brand name frames. I paid extra for all the coatings, and coverage that I could. The glasses however have bowed out so far it is impossible to wear them without severe pain from the arms pushing my ears out. I had reached out/gone in multiple times about this, asking for adjustments, explaining the issue, showing the marks on my ears. Even putting my frames, side by side with the floor model, that I had tried on when making a choice. The 1 inch gap between my temples and the arms is a "common issue over time" There is nothing we can do, this just happens, we have them in stock if you'd like you can buy a new set. So, if you are like me and you like to "buy once cry once" This isnt the place. They should try explaining to the customer the common known issues. As well as the sell points. I wouldnt be as salty about this, but the saftey glasses I purchased at the same time have these little nose pads that swell up and fall off leaving 2 sharp plastic barbs digging into your nose. Paying $35/month for nose pads for my $600 saftey glasses. And only getting 3 years of light at home use from my $570 ray bans. So when I am done with my contacts for the day, I find myself only reaching for my off brand glasses from 11 years ago, which i can at least wear. So just be aware, and vigilant when being pushed to spend more for "quality". Ask if they know of any problems. My prescription hasn't changed. Hense why I decided to spend more on something I thought was going to last.”Lire la suiteRéduire
