I have been going to Christal for massages this past year, and I have to say that she is truly one of the nicest, professional and knowledgeable RMTs I have gone to. I have severe nerve pain resulting from a sports injury, and Christal was able to relieve my pain by pinpointing the areas spot on. She is clearly a very experienced RMT in all aspects of injuries, pain, and uses massage therapy to heal the patient. I have never felt relief as I did when I see Christal. Another major reason why I will continue seeing Christal is because she is so empathetic - she goes over the time limit (when she can) because she sees how much pain I am in. Holistic Roots is a wonderful establishment. I received an amazing hot stone massage there. I highly recommend getting this service done at Holistic Roots. They also offer a variety of services and are very professional. I want to check out their naturopathic medicine. I would highly recommend Holistic Roots for physiotherapy too. The staff are sympathetic and knowledgeable. Holistic Roots also generously donates to many of the charities I support in the Ottawa area.Lire la suiteRéduire

I was pulled to Holistic Roots when my massage therapist started there. Laura is absolutely the best massage therapist I have ever visited, and I will follow her wherever she goes. She also referred me to the physio, Kurt. Again, I have found another favourite therapist. Kurt does fantastic work. He is a manual therapist so you never feel like sessions are wasted. He is incredibly intelligent and charismatic, so you get a fantastic treatment and never need to feel nervous.Lire la suiteRéduire

Clean, cozzy, and Professional location. Staff themselves are fantastic too. My last massage (Christal) went 20 minutes over the reserved time. When offering a small tip, she said to save it for the next one. Ultimately, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I also recommend Dave for massage therapy, and Jodi for chiro. Never had a bad experience here. This has got to be one of the best - and most unnoticed - massage clinics in Ottawa. Thank you.Lire la suiteRéduire

I go to this place specifically because of my massage therapist who works out of there. However in comparison to other places it's definitely not the best. It's extremely clean and nicely decorated. They do offer physiotherapy as well. They don't do direct billing, there's no dedicated receptionist, & parking is on the street so you have to be careful. My massage therapist, Tomoko Honda, is terrific though so I really don't mind going anywhere she is!Lire la suiteRéduire
