Milia Extractions

Milia extraction is a safe, highly effective dermatological procedure used to remove small, hard, white or yellowish bumps on the skin called milia. Milia are tiny keratin-filled cysts that form when dead skin cells or a strong protein called keratin become trapped just beneath the skin's surface. Because milia do not have an opening on the skin's surface like a traditional whitehead or pimple, squeezing or attempting to pop them at home is strongly advised against, as it can result in pain, permanent scarring, or infection.
