Manual Osteopathic Therapy (MOT) can be billed to most insurance companies. (Please note that Canada Life and Edmonton Pipe Industry do not accept MOT claims).
Currently, direct billing is not accepted for MOT, but will be available soon depending on your provider. An update will be provided here once direct billing is available. A few weeks ago she did an osteopath session with me, and it was unbelievable. It was a little different than massage, but when I left there I felt like I was in my 20’s again. “To say Kristi is a great massage therapist is an understatement. I was referred to Kristi by one of my own clients and came to her with excruciating neck pain. We worked on it consistently and sometimes I lost hope that I would ever be pain free. We've come such a long way since that first day a year ago and have healed so much that it's not often I get neck pain unless I need an adjustment because of something I've done. She asks me what I want worked on and I say, whatever you think and it's exactly what I need each time !!!! Her passion for knowledge and sharing that is priceless !!!! Very easy going and easy to talk with. I get worked on regularly and it has made such a difference so it pays to be consistent with appointments!!!! “I'm not one to write reviews for just anyone. I have had many different types of massages at many different places, to try & find the right combination to help with all my aliments. I found Kristi Bjornson & thank the goddess I did. I booked my first 1.5 hour appointment knowing that the first 30 minutes would be me just telling her all my body issues & pain. I started at the bottom & worked my way throughout my body so that she knew everything & of course I couldn't remember it all so things came up as we went on. One of my major issues is my Neck; micro fractures & arthritis throughout. C1,2 always tilted, C4-6 herniated discs. Continuous pain & limited mobility. (I also have herniated disks in my back) l have been seeing Kristi approximately 4 months now & let me tell you she has increased my neck mobility using Graston techniques (highly recommend), Vibrating cupping cup, regular cupping cups, massage, stretch & more. My body has never felt this amazing and with way less pain as well. She takes the time to really get to your body & how it responds to treatments, how she needs to approach different treatments & when to switch up treatments. We discuss how everything has been since my last appointment at every appointment. Kristi continually looks at different modalities to add to her skill set & keeps all her clients in mind when doing her education so she knows who would benefit from which modalities better. If you are looking for a massage therapist that isn't just about the money & truly wants to help be the best you can be. Kristi Bjornson is your lady. “Kristi is an excellent RMT. She is able to work out the knots and tight muscles and leave you feeling 10 years younger ! And she does it with only enough pressure to coax the muscles to relax.
