Following breast cancer, augmentation, reduction, or lift procedures, many women are left with unpleasant scarring. Alexandra’s scar camouflage tattooing helps blend your scars with your natural skin tone, softening their appearance and providing a more uniform look. Alexandra uses two techniques: 1. She uses an inkless technique that softens scars and naturally encourages the body to produce collagen. Collagen is essential for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness, helping to regenerate the skin without the addition of pigments. 2. She uses a technique that involves implanting pigment into the targeted area, blending seamlessly with the natural skin tone to conceal scars and make them less noticeable. These techniques can be applied separately or together. Sometimes, an inkless approach is used as the first step in scar concealment to stimulate collagen production and prepare the skin. Pigment will then be applied in the next appointment for optimal results. This combination approach allows for the softening of scar tissue and the creation of a more natural-looking skin tone. *The $450 + GST fee covers your first and second appointments.
