Being fairly active, I am no stranger to back pain or muscle sprains and strains that just seem to follow me through life. As an antidote, I have sometimes turned to massage as the modality of choice to recover from the prolonged discomfort that can make life even more challenging.
I have benefited from hundreds of massages of varying quality— practiced by more than a dozen practitioners in four countries over the years. Some treatments were simply for relaxation resulting from stress— delivered by some skilled, though some not-so-skilled individuals. Many more were for therapeutic purposes— delivered by accredited Therapeutic Massage professionals.
Most recently, I inherited a gifted young massage therapist—who was recommended by my long-time therapist when she had occasion to move her massage table, well beyond my acceptable “near me” travelling radius.
I was apprehensive about restarting my seemingly endless search for the perfect therapeutic massage therapist— only until my first hot stone treatment with Minh Trat.
Minh is a 2022 graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. He subsequently practiced at several notable regional clinics until he, only recently, opened his own, private, local clinic.
Minh is a Massage Therapist extraordinaire. He is versed and certified in various therapeutic massage techniques too numerous to list here. His expertise in hot stone and sometimes cold stone therapies, has converts like me, as well as my wife, added to his regular schedule.
His brand-new clinic, ‘Minh Trat’s Massage Therapy Clinic’ is located in the Guildford neighbourhood. It is a modest, unassuming, and comfortable space. And it is apparent that no expense was spared on the acquisition of his new, ergonomic, state-of-the-profession, extra-wide and super-comfortable, powered massage table.
Minh Trat is the real deal in professional, effective, massage therapy versatility. Minh will simply make you feel better.
Today I refer to him as Master Minh— for he truly is a master at his profession.
