I have been seeing Alex for the last couple months to treat some issues with my shoulder and elbow. The pain I had been feeling has significantly reduced through some dry needling, massage, and exercises. Alex is very knowledgeable and friendly - she makes me laugh every time I’m in there. Direct billing to private insurance (ICBC) is amazing. I don’t have to worry about being reimbursed and I can get all the help I need. The people are always friendly and Alexandra who is treating me is so wonderful. I have been thoroughly impressed by my experience with Registered Physiotherapist Sofy Tsai at Penticton Physiotherapy & IMS Clinic. My treatment has been exceptional and the experience has been extremely helpful and rewarding. Sofy has been very professional as well as easy and comfortable to conference with. She explains the treatment plan going forward, guides me through the exercises, and follows up with emails of my plan to follow at home. I feel confident with all the treatment I have received and have progressed steadily through my shoulder rotator cuff rehab. If we run into a roadblock, Sofy has shifted gears and tried something different that has been very successful. Her skill with IMS is very evident and smooth. Sofy is very personable and easy to talk with and understand her individual treatment focus. She consistently checks for understanding and follows through during the next appointment to see how things are progressing. Sofy is empathetic and a very good listener. She is also able to convey the urgency needed to follow her plan in order to experience success. I have enjoyed my time getting to know Sofy. I found Sofy about six weeks after my caesarean section with my first and only child for pelvic floor recovery and general physio therapy. She was an absolute pro in getting me started with gentle core exercises and working with me over the next few months to get me back into physical shape for running, cycling, and weightlifting. Her dry needling work is amazing and she was able to help release some serious tension in my back, neck, and shoulders during those first months postpartum. I began treatment with Chris Stokes at Penticton Physiotherapy & IMS Clinic approximately five weeks ago for persistent lower back pain that had been affecting me for nearly ten months. Chris conducted a thorough assessment and clearly explained the available treatment options.
