Physio with Kayla is always excellent! Highly recommend.

I would recommend Rise and Kayla to anyone (and have - they are now repeat customers). Kayla is welcoming, knowledgeable, and a wizard when it comes to physio. She takes the full time allotted to assess and treat your symptoms one on one. I began seeing Kayla a couple years ago for neck and shoulder pain. As long as I can remember they've always been quite tight and was made much worse when I broke my back in 2011. Up until rise I'd never been able to completely resolve it, but since coming to rise I'm happy to say I've been free of chronic pain for over a year! This has allowed me to get back to things I haven't done since breaking my back, including getting back into the gym. Thrilled to continue going to Rise for maintenance treatments since and to be proactive before things flare up.Lire la suiteRéduire

Kayla is amazing, I have been to many different physio therapists over the years and she is one of the best. Her business model of one patient at a time makes you feel heard/ understood, and you are left feeling like your needs were met. Would recommend for sport performance, pain relief, and overall body mechanics.Lire la suiteRéduire

I saw Tanner for about a year from an extremely devastating botched chest surgery causing the right arm to not work extremely swelling multiple muscle damage grade 2 tears grade 1 tears extremity fascia tearing and scar tissue no muscle groups working correctly massive disfigurement and disfunction of jaw neck shoulder and stomach muscles dynamic movement of muscles when those muscles are not even in use Dr Tanner spent a lot of time getting me to the point I would move he did get my shoulder to have full range motion and in his eyes that was the healing and I was ready to work and forget the past ignore debilitating pain and symptoms stop seeking imaging and professionals He started getting really aggressive with me and very unhappy that at the beginning of each appointment I was constantly saying my symptoms and constantly trying to find answers looking for more advanced imaging I knew he was getting to the point he dreaded my appointments I had 2 choices lie and say I was ok happy better continue to work with him and his personal trainer or speak the truth and continue seeking help. I choice to continue seeking help even asking him to help search for a lymphatic specialist to work together as a team with him saying he wasn’t going to waste 12 hours of his time for something I didn’t need I edit my review because the last time I saw him I wanted him to understand that just because I can move my arm dose not mean that I am ok and that something serious is happening despite conflicting imaging and a recent mri which said nothing surgical required How many research papers are that or surgeons out their who go in to fix a muscle only to find way more damage then expected This had been my problem drs relying on mri and picking and choosing which images fit their narrative Dr Tanner was rude when I kept saying no I have a problem tried to show pictures I had and explain yes I don’t look like these pictures but these areas in the pictures now look like ABC AND DO ABC AND IS CAUSING ABC he refused to look stated that’s the past I choose to be sick Well I saw a dr recently who did a ultrasound in there office not a imaging centre they had to look for specific things and signs Turns out I do need surgery and I am being referred to Toronto teaching hospital I knew this all along since I had a plastics a orthodontist Boston and a internal medicine dr all saying I need a territory hospital and the physical therapist I seen after Tanner saying i need dynamic imaging no imaging can really help me or a professional know what’s happening when the muscles are engaging turns out my lay and pectoral fascia is glued down not allowing the muscles to work individually Tanner is smart he got my arm to work but he definitely needs to learn he is working for the patient and their needs their journey he threatened me to call my dr and say I was suicidal and non compliant and combative just because i have since the beginning said I was exploring made which my family dr is aware and combative because I didn’t agree with his statements completely and the non compliant was a crazy statement since I never once denied any exercise him nor his personal trainer requested I do in fact I did them even though I didn’t know if they would help or hurt me I am writing this because it’s not ok to treat people like that when you are earning money and are supposed to help if you can’t handle a patient or do not like them the professional thing to do is just say it instead of tearing them down like all the other providers who didn’t take the time to discovery what was going on.Lire la suiteRéduire

Kayla is exceptional! After months of ensuring an injury that wouldn’t heal, she was able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong and gave me the exercises I needed to heal. The dry needling she does was also a miracle worker! Cannot recommend enough, she’s amazing.Lire la suiteRéduire

I saw Amish for a knee injury recently and he was fantastic. He did a ton of tests to really localize the area of injury, and was very friendly and confident with his skills. I had a great experience and will be seeing him for any future injuries or assessments. Thank you Amish!Lire la suiteRéduire

Dr Tanner and Kayla are the best! If you are looking for one on one personalized care this is the place to go. Dr Tanner took the time to assess my problems and work through the root cause of my aches and pains. This is the first time i've experienced care so detailed and in depth. I have now sent all of my family to them!Lire la suiteRéduire

Kayla has been fixing me for over a decade now. That is no small feat considering how hard I try to break myself. Incredibly professional and knowledgeable in Her field as well as an amazing bedside manner.

Lewis is amazing! My previous physio experience consisted of one therapist taking care of multiple clients at the same time. At Rise, you have one on one appointments for a full hour. Lewis walks you through every exercise to make sure you fully understand, does dry needling and work on your injury and makes sure you know what is needed regarding the healing process before you leave. He's easy going, very approachable and funny which makes the physio experience easier. I'm a big fan of Rise and would recommend it to family and friends. :)Lire la suiteRéduire
