“In June I went to get an eye exam which went very smoothly, it turned out I needed glasses and the optometrist, Dr. Rathore, was incredibly efficient and professional. It turned out I needed progressives. I picked one of the few frames that my Disability Insurance would cover, which look really nice, and waited two weeks for them to arrive. I picked them up with no issue and tried wearing them for about a week. They weren't a good fit, they were very tight around the nose bridge, left marks on my skin and were also somehow constantly sliding down. I knew I could get them adjusted, no big deal, so I went back and asked for them to be refitted. It was a Wednesday morning, pretty dead and I figured it would be a simple thing. The woman at the counter was friendly at first, I explained the situation and she invited me to take a seat and show her my frames. I asked if they could be adjusted and she said, "Not really..." - I then reiterated that they were hurting my face and slipping constantly. She let out a big sigh and said, "There's really nothing I can do about that." - I politely asked her if she could bend the arms of the frames to fit around my ears a bit better and put some pressure off of my nose bridge. She begrudgingly said, "I can try, but no promises." and did so. I took the frames home and they felt even tighter. A couple of weeks later I just couldn't wear them anymore, they were leaving deep, red marks on my brow and nose bridge. I went back, showed them the fit and the damage the frames were doing to my face and the person at the counter seemed genuinely concerned, pointing out how tight they were. I came to find out that SpecSavers has a 3-month guarantee on frames, something I was not informed of when I brought up the poor fit the last visit ("There's really nothing I can do about that...") - Shortly afterward, another employee, introducing herself as Lisa, agreed the frames were a poor fit and helped me pick a new pair. Unfortunately, only one other pair fit my face, a pair I honestly didn't like very much, with much less coverage underneath the lenses. I brought this up as a concern and was told, "There's always a tradeoff that happens with frames, you can't have it all at this price range." I conceded and decided to take any frames that wouldn't hurt. As I was trying to ask questions, she kept interrupting me to chat with her co-worker. I said, "Hi, excuse me, I was wondering..." and had her put her finger up to me without even looking at me, continuing to casually talk over me about non-work related after hours things with her associate. The other worker who was helping me along with her, I believe his name was Jason, looked at me sympathetically and said, "I'm new, so I don't have answers to your questions, but I'll make absolutely sure you get those answers before you leave." Jason was very kind, very friendly, and very professional. I was told I could keep my previous frames until the new ones arrived in two weeks and they were again refitted. Lisa, who seemed reluctant to finalize the order for the new frames, told me to go home and try the old ones for awhile again before she would commit to ordering the new ones. I did, leaving feeling disrespected and dismissed. I called back a few hours later confirming they still felt uncomfortable. Jason was the person on the other line and sent the order through for me. A few days later I've talked to a handful of people about my experience and they recommended I just go to an independently run optometrist and call it a day. I'm honestly so fed up with my runaround with this Specsavers location that I don't even want to pick up these new frames and will keep the ones I have and have a different optometry business refit them for me. Cherry Lane Specsavers, your location has awesome, honestly incredible user reviews. That's why I opted to choose you for my eye care. Dr. Rathore and Jason were very kind, professional and helpful, but whatever was going on with Lisa that day, man, you really made me feel small. 1 extra star for Dr. Rathore and Jason.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“My first interaction was with Lisa, who provided all the pertinent info for me to make the right choices for lenses and helped process my order for two new pairs of glasses with progressive lenses. All her recommendations were spot on, as I discovered when picking up my glasses three weeks later from Kris. Kris did an amazing job with my fitting, and he went above and beyond to ensure I left the store happy with my purchases. Great customer service all around. Thanks Specsavers team!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“My 83 yrs old mom and I stopped by this location back in April 2026 on a saturday to ask if they could do anything to fix my mom's glasses. The stems had become too loose for her and kept falling off her face and the wait time for a eye appointment to get her new glasses was months away. The employee there was so helpful, she said give me 10 minutes and she put on new stems and a nose piece on mom's glasses and a good cleaning. We offered to pay for this service but she politely shook her head no it was her pleasure and we went on our way. I've been telling all my friends, family and coworkers what amazing service we received!! We will be back for future eye glass purchases. the only thing is I wish I got her name! She was wearing very funky coloured glasses with dark hair. She's a keeper!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I came in with my prescription from the eye doctor, and I believe Chelsea and another lady had helped me. The other lady (cannot remember her name) was so extremely helpful in finding glasses that fit/suited my face the best. There were some technical issues with the computer, but they were so kind! Cannot wait to pick up my glasses when they are ready :)”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I received very good customer service with Lisa at Specsavers Penticton. She was knowledgeable, gave me valuable input on a selection of glasses and helped me find the glasses that suited me. Lisa also took her time to make sure the measurements were very accurate. When I went back to pick them up she spent time making sure the fit was correct. It was a very good experience and I would not hesitate to shop there again.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I went in for contact lenses today, and since it was my first time putting them in, I was quite nervous. Derin was incredibly patient and gave very clear instructions that were easy to follow. He was both supportive and friendly throughout the process. Derin definitely deserves a raise for his excellent service!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“We were very impressed by the staff with their knowledge of what frames best suited our faces. They were extremely helpful and patient. My daughters and I all took advantage of the buy 1 get one free deal . We are pleased with our purchases and got lots of compliments. We have promoted the WEM location for their products and for their exceptional service. The doctors are amazing too! I would like to recognize Marwa as she spent quite a bit of time helping all three of us find our frames .”Lire la suiteRéduire
