“I've been here twice now for eye check-ups and new glasses and both times I have had amazing service. The staff are excellent and their optometrists are so amazing. “I am really pleased with the Woodgrove, Nanaimo Specsaver store. I have had optical requirements for over 50yrs. I was pleasantly surprised that the optical service process has changed, thanks to advanced technology. I had the eye exam shortly after I arrived for my appointment. Spoke with Dr. Modi a few minutes later to go over the results. And a few minutes later picking out prescribed sunglass and glasses with KC guiding me and being an educated support of thumbs up and thumbs down for fit and looks. The choice was narrowed further quite quickly till I had the glasses ordered and I was extremely Happy with the whole process. A well running and oiled machine with fun and knowledgeable staff. “I was served by Eva Kling, who is an optician at Specsaver, Woodgrove Mall, Nanaimo. She is the second optician who served me at Specsaver. When I met with Eva, she saw that I hadn’t been advised as to the type of frames that would be suitable for me. As I have double vision, the lenses were not correct. Eva went beyond her call of duty to help choose a more suitable frame and corrected the lenses. The glasses I have are very comfortable and I can see well. Eva is cares for her clients and sees that they receive the best service. Last week, erroneously I went a day earlier for my appointment and Eva accommodated me. That is excellent service!! “Simply the BEST!!!!!! is an understatement. All the staff and management were extremely friendly, kind, patient, helpful thru the whole process, right from the start to the finish. “The absolute best place to buy glasses that I have ever been too!! Great staff, friendly, polite and helpful, plus they all smile!!!! The greetings that I received as soon as I walked in were awesome, and it continued with every new employee I encountered. My glasses are spectacular and I love them, from the look to the fit 10 out of 10. Plus the price was right and then to boot, they gave me a $50.00 coupon for my next purchase. “Ok, so I had posted a review and took it down for specific reasons. 1. I was to quick to pull the poor service card, that was not cool of me to do that. 2. Every individual I spoke with who works there was very polite, professional, and willing to listen. 3.The service that SpecSavers provides is amazing, and affordable not like the competitor who is only steps away. 4. I am wearing my new glasses, learning the progressive learning curve. Its a little tricky on some points of vision, but I am already adjusting nicely. 5. “Top class from start to finish; I had some issues with the website so I called to make an appointment. Everyone I interacted with was so lovely & friendly. I was having some issues with my insurance but they were all so helpful, positive & patient. I got it sorted eventually with their help! Shout out to the lovely human with pink lensed glasses who helped; not only with my test but with my Insurance issue & an IT issue too!!! Special shout out to KC who was so helpful, friendly & really great with helping me choose a pair of glasses. Loved how she asked what my parameters were and quickly found a pair for me!
