“I had a lymphatic drainage massage with Kimberly Taylor at Synergistix in Peterborough and it was an amazing experience. Kimberly was incredibly professional, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the entire appointment. She made me feel comfortable and explained the process clearly, which really helped me relax. I left feeling lighter, less bloated, and overall so refreshed. The environment was calming and welcoming, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. “I can’t say enough about Synergystix. From my initial phone call right until I was leaving my appointment - the entire team was outstanding. The staff at the front desk are so kind and got me in for a same day appointment despite me never having been there before. When I got there, they were so friendly and personable. They were extremely courteous and thoughtful trying to ensure I was comfortable while I waited shortly for my RMT. I saw Laura the RMT for my appointment and she’s incredible. So friendly, easy to talk to get and get along with, and I got a wonderful massage. She was so thorough in making sure I was comfortable throughout our entire appointment. “Had a wonderful experience here. Wonderful staff and very welcoming. I saw Léanne who was amazing and very attentive to the issues at hand. She doesn't go in and give a 'basic' massage. “Can't recommend Esther enough! I like her fascia and lymphatic drainage massage. She is a very experienced RMT and knows exactly where the pain is. I always feel relaxed and more flexible after leaving there!”

“Massage technique was fine. Front of staff great. What ruined the entire experience was having the therapist remain in the room and expected me to change back into my clothes after the appointment. I understand they are a registered nurse and very comfortable with the human body. However not everyone feels the same. When I mentioned I would change once they left, they brushed it off and said they are in a hurry and didn't want to leave then come back to show me a certain stretch. Then turned around and waited for me to change. I did not feel comfortable. I mentioned I would change when they left and my request was brushed off. I wasn't treated with respect, nor was my comfort level taken into consideration and that is not right. It didn't matter that they were rushing me out and saying they needed to hurry for time got away, or the conversation during the massage was about politics (not my choice), or how they mentioned certain vitamins etc to help avoid diabetes (due to my weight). What frustrated me was the lack of respect for privacy. Please do better in ensuring your therapists understand what consent means, what respect is and to pay attention to people's levels of comfort.
