“Worst experience ever. The previous dentists a couple of years ago were great. Yesterday I went for a filling. They didn't flatten it properly, they left a jagged piece and whatever else they did just didn't work because it hurt like heck the next day. I went back in today to get it fixed and they started drilling with no numbing. When I complained the dentist just kept repeating " We don't do numbing on this procedure" I just walked out and cancelled my future appointments. Now I'm stuck with a bad filling that I cannot get fixed because insurance won't cover the same tooth again. Thanks for nothing. “After reply edit: Did I say stop? Did I tell you "Get it out of my mouth" ...The recording of our visit says I did along with you saying "no" ...I recorded the event...I definitely am going ahead with formal investigation and presenting that recording as proof. No means No and Stop means Stop! I had a very concerning experience at Wascana Dental Center recently. I went in for a tooth extraction, and right from the start, I felt uncomfortable with the treatment. The dentist seemed to push hard for a root canal, and when I declined, her attitude became defensive. The tooth was cracked in half. For my numbing, I was given a swab, and only a few minutes later, the dentist proceeded with the needle. The pain was much more intense than I expected, but I tried to push through it. However, when I went in for my second visit, the experience was even worse. The dentist only waited 30-45 seconds after swabbing before jabbing me with the needle. It hurt so much that I said “ouch” and asked her to stop, but she ignored my pleas and continued. When the needle reached the front of my mouth, I felt an excruciating pain that shot up my face, with immense pressure under my left eye. Despite my repeated requests to stop, the dentist refused, even as I began to panic. At one point, the hygienist physically held my arm down while I screamed in pain “ Get it out of my mouth” She still refused! I had no choice but to push my way out of the chair. It was a traumatic experience, and I honestly felt assaulted. I understand that dental procedures can be uncomfortable, but this was beyond what I could tolerate. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience. I believe patient comfort and consent should always be prioritized, and this incident left me feeling deeply distressed.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Thank you Team Wascana Dental😊I had an emergency dental issue and was referred to Wascana dental.I called and explained my symptoms to Christina. She was extremely pleasant, empathetic & set me up for a same day appointment as I was in excruciating pain. I made it for the appointment and was taken care of by DMD Okikiolu and her team (another set of amazing professionals). The session took about 5 hours and extended after the usual closing time but they stayed back to complete the surgery. After the session, Christina who also stayed back helped me to my ride to ensure I was okay. Thank you once again to the entire team👍🏽. I am grateful to have encountered amazing professionals that truly care about going above and beyound and providing great customer experience 😊.
