About Adrienne
Adrienne Schmitke, RMT, CDT, is a Vodder-certified Applied Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Therapist, a Certified Combined Decongestive Therapist (CDT), and holds advanced certification in Craniosacral Therapy. Her practice is rooted in activating the parasympathetic (“rest-and-digest”) nervous system to create a deeply calming and safe environment for the body to release tension and promote healing.
She specializes in Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) - a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses precise, light-pressure techniques without oils or lotions to support the lymphatic system. MLD is profoundly relaxing and clinically effective, with applications for:
• Injury and soft tissue swelling
• Headaches and migraines
• Sinus and digestive issues
• Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, autoimmune conditions
• Post-surgical healing and scar recovery
• Circulatory concerns
• Stress, anxiety, and general relaxation
As a CDT, Adrienne is also trained in the gold-standard approach for managing lymphedema and chronic swelling, offering Complete Decongestive Therapy which includes MLD, compression therapy, exercise guidance, and skin care education.
Her advanced training in craniosacral therapy complements her lymphatic work, supporting nervous system regulation, subtle structural alignment, and deep integrative healing.
Adrienne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from Queen’s University and completed her Massage Therapy training in Toronto in 2017, with hospital-based specializations.
If you’re recovering from surgery, managing chronic swelling or lymphedema, or simply seeking a deeply restorative experience, Adrienne offers tailored treatments to support your goals.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with her dogs and horses or curling up with a good book.
