Dans ses motsAlanna obtained her Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy in 2015 at Sheridan College. She has always had a passion for helping others and is interested in how the body functions as a whole. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree, she decided to continue her education and graduated in 2016 from Ontario College of Health and Technology for Massage Therapy. Alanna's experience and education as an Athletic Therapist gives her a strong knowledge base in assessment and rehabilitation which remains active within her clinical practice as a massage therapist.
Before starting her own practice, previous work environments include a variety of settings such as college teams, high schools, gym facilities and multidisciplinary clinics. Based on the patient's needs, Alanna will incorporate various techniques into her treatments including mobilizations and range of motion, stretching, cupping, fascial release and exercises to name a few.
Alanna understands that everyone is unique and their wellness and ability to succeed is just as individualized and unique as they are. She helps people thrive in their physical wellness so that whatever their daily objectives are – whether being an active family, a community volunteer, or actively taking part in sports – she will help you reach and achieve your wellness goals by creating a treatment plan that is right for you and your lifestyle.
