About Alex
Alex Hill is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and professional Art Therapist with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Art Therapy. She works with older teens, adults, older adults, and couples, supporting clients through anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and emotional overwhelm.
Alex is known for her warm, genuine, and calming presence. Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and grounded in the belief that each person possesses strengths, resilience, and inner wisdom that can support meaningful change. She has a special interest in working with Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) and helping clients better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and build healthier relationships.
When working with couples, Alex draws from Gottman-informed approaches to help partners strengthen communication, navigate conflict, deepen connection, and create more fulfilling relationships.
While talk therapy is often the foundation of her work, Alex may also incorporate mindfulness, somatic, creative, and art therapy techniques when they align with a client’s goals and preferences. Her approach is always collaborative, tailored, and guided by what matters most to each client.
