About Alex
Alex supports children, youth, and adults as they navigate emotional challenges, build confidence, and understand their identities within the systems that shape them. She is deeply committed to affirming and supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, creating spaces where people feel safe, respected, and understood as they explore who they are or work through trauma, mood-related concerns, and complex life experiences.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and paced to what feels right for each person. Alex integrates CPT, DBT, and CBT, tailoring each session to the individual’s needs and lived realities. Her work is grounded in compassion and anti-oppressive practice, helping clients deepen insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical tools for navigating challenges at home, school, and in relationships.
Alex has experience supporting children, youth, families, and 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, as well as individuals working through anxiety, depression, PTSD, identity-related concerns, and the stressors of major life transitions.
Outside of her clinical work, Alex enjoys spending time with her wife and their two dogs—whether at home, outdoors, or exploring new places. She values meaningful connections with friends and family, good food, and shared experiences.
Alex is honoured to support clients with honesty, care, and respect as they work toward emotional clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self. She is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
