À propos de Alexandra

Dans ses mots
Alexandra Désilets received her first diploma in Fitness and health promotion at Algonquin College in 2016. Her passion for movement and injury prevention led her to pursue further education in the Intensive Massage therapy Program at Algonquin College, where she received her second diploma in 2020. During Alex’s schooling she acquired experience treating varsity athletes, sports injuries, prenatal, clients suffering with chronic pain or acute injuries, and helping clients with general physical discomforts. After playing competitive soccer for 10 years and experiencing injuries requiring surgery and rehabilitation. She was motivated to learn more about health, fitness and rehabilitation, in order to get back into being able to participate in things that she loves doing. This has now led Alex to be able to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, from down hill skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in the winter, to water skiing, hiking, and kayaking in the summer. She believes it is important to incorporate exercise; strength training and mobility movement into her treatment plans to help better her clients into returning what they love to do most.
