Alexandra is a registered acupuncturist whose practice weaves together acupuncture and somatic bodywork. Rooted in Chinese medicine and deepened through ongoing study of manual therapy, Alexandra works with the whole body - including the abdomen, pelvis and breast tissue - as sites of held emotion and unresolved tensions.
Treatments are always informed by the nervous system and the full texture of a patient's life: their sleep, their digestion, their relationships, the cycles they keep returning to. Her focus areas include chronic pain, women's health, abortion aftercare and emotional wellbeing.
Outside of clinic, Alexandra spends her time hiking, napping in moss and admiring the creatures living on and around the island.
