Growing up dancing and skiing in the Kootenays, Ali has always had a passion for movement and being active. Her extensive experience teaching dance to children of all ages has deepened her understanding of how movement can heal and transform. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor of Health and Exercise Sciences in Kelowna, where she quickly knew it would be her future home. During her studies, Ali also received a Minor in Psychology with a special interest in developmental and adolescent psychology.
Ali then pursued a Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia where she graduated with high distinction and as one of the class valedictorians in the fall of 2024. During her masters, she had the pleasure of completing a practicum placement at Kids Physio Group in Kelowna. The experience she gained with the help of her inspiring clinical mentors, paired with her dance teaching experience, sparked a keen interest in working in pediatrics. With the intention of making physio fun, Ali brings creativity and energy to every session, ensuring that her young clients not only improve but enjoy the process. She’s thrilled to return to the KPG team to help kids thrive and foster a love for activity along the way.
