Dans ses motsWith over five years of experience working with adolescents and adults, Alviya Arbi is a
compassionate and dedicated clinician committed to fostering emotional growth,
healing and self-discovery. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and
is a Licensed Supervised Psychological Associate under the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
Alviya specializes in helping individuals navigate a broad range of mental health
concerns, including anxiety, depression, conduct disorders, addiction, personality
difficulties, trauma, stress, grief, relationship challenges, low self-esteem and
adjustment issues. Her experience spans both individual and group settings, offering
culturally sensitive and client-centered care to diverse populations.
Her therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative, addressing the mind, emotions,
body and spirituality to promote overall well-being. She draws from a variety of
evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Systemic Therapy. Alviya also
integrates Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and
Psychodynamic insights based on each client’s unique needs and goals.
Known for her warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental presence, Alviya creates a safe
and supportive space for clients to explore their inner experiences and develop
resilience. She views therapy as not only a tool for overcoming challenges but also a
proactive pathway to greater self-awareness, emotional balance and fulfillment.
Fluent in English, Kiswahili, Hindi and Urdu, Alviya provides culturally attuned
therapy that honors the individual stories and identities of each client. Whether you are
