Amanda’s interest in health and physical activity was cultivated from a young age. Spending over a decade in figure skating has allowed her to experience the limitations of injuries firsthand, and understand how they can impact everyday life. This experience has brought her to pursue a career as a registered massage therapist, where she strives to help others regain and maintain function by providing a treatment tailored for each individual’s needs.
Amanda believes in patient-centered care and aims to provide a means of relief by supporting patients with their goals through treatments inside the treatment room and out. Her tools include varying depths of pressure and techniques such as stretching, muscle, fascial, and deeper tissue massage, as well as patient education and homecares to work towards improved functionability and quality of life.
Outside of work, she enjoys the occasional figure skating session, softball game, dance class, or staying home with her ever growing list of crochet projects.
