Hi I’m Amanda! I graduated from VCC in December of 2022. In a session with me, I will use many techniques to create a blended deep tissue treatment. In my opinion, deep tissue is an art, and to do deep tissue well, there must be an understanding of how the muscles and the joints work together. To really apply deep tissue there is a sequence and understanding of where each muscle holds tension, releasing one at a time to reach the next layer of tissue! This style of treatment allows us to go deep into the layers to unlock more range of motion, restore balance and posture and relief pain and tension. Each patient is unique and together we will adjust all techniques, pressure and pain level to suit each individual! I also offer specific tension headache relieving massages, face massage, and TMJ intra-oral or external massage. Hips and shoulder mobility are one of my favourite treatments! I have a background in personal training and have been body building for 14 years, you can ask me for home care exercises anytime!
