About Amanda
Please note: This therapist is currently on Maternity leave.
During my Physical Therapy program, scoliosis was only briefly discussed, and I found myself wanting to learn more. After shadowing Dr. Sanja at Curvy Spine and seeing firsthand the positive impact Schroth therapy had on patients, I knew this was an area I wanted to pursue. I completed my training as an ISST Schroth Therapist with Sanja and have been passionate about helping individuals with scoliosis ever since.
Education has always been an important part of my career. During my undergraduate studies, I worked with children in Grades 4 to 6 with diverse learning and support needs and their families, helping them find strategies to succeed academically. That experience reinforced the importance of individualized care and education—something that continues to be at the heart of my approach to Schroth therapy. I love helping patients better understand their scoliosis and empowering them with the knowledge and tools to confidently manage their condition.
Before joining Curvy Spine, I worked with individuals recovering from a variety of injuries, helping them return to work and improve their function through active rehabilitation programs. Those experiences strengthened my belief that successful rehabilitation is built on collaboration, education, and treatment plans tailored to each person's unique goals.
These days, my biggest hobby is keeping up with my energetic toddler, who happily keeps me on my toes! When I do find a little free time, I love being outdoors, going for walks, playing games with family and friends, and getting out on the pickleball court whenever I can. I enjoy making the most of life's simple moments and appreciate any opportunity to be active, spend time outside, and create fun memories with the people I love.
I enjoy working with children of all ages as well as adults, and I believe every person deserves a treatment plan that is tailored to their unique curve pattern, lifestyle, and goals. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your scoliosis journey!
