About Amara
Amara is a dedicated physiotherapist with specialized expertise in pediatric, neurological, and musculoskeletal care. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2014 and has built a strong foundation in evidence-based, patient-centered practice over the course of her career.
In pediatric physiotherapy, Amara has developed extensive experience supporting children in achieving developmental milestones while improving mobility, strength, and coordination in a fun, engaging, and family-centered environment. She works closely with both children and their caregivers to foster confidence, independence, and long-term success.
Amara also brings significant expertise in neurological physiotherapy, working with individuals affected by conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurological disorders. She focuses on restoring movement, enhancing balance and coordination, and improving overall quality of life through targeted rehabilitation strategies.
In the musculoskeletal field, Amara treats a wide range of conditions involving muscles, joints, and soft tissues. From injury recovery and chronic pain management to performance optimization, her goal is to reduce pain, restore function, and help patients return to the activities that matter most to them.
In her spare time, Amara enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, whether at home or out together. She also likes staying active by playing volleyball and skiing, which she finds both enjoyable and a good way to unwind.
