About Amy
With over a decade of counselling experience, I provide compassionate, evidence-informed support for youth and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, parenting, life transitions, stress, and personal growth.
Based in Campbell River, I have specialized training in reproductive and maternal mental health, birth and reproductive trauma, attachment, infant-parent mental health, and family wellbeing. My advanced education includes the Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship (University of California), certification programs with Postpartum Support International, Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy training, and studies in existential grief therapy.
I also have extensive experience supporting children, parents, and families, with a focus on attachment, child development, collaborative problem-solving, and family-centred care.
Outside of my practice, I am a creative writer and parent of two neurodivergent children, whose perspectives continue to shape my work and life. My goal is to provide accessible, thoughtful mental health care that helps people build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful connections.
