Amy is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience supporting children, youth, families, and perinatal clients through life’s challenges. She brings a warm, collaborative, and holistic approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Education from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor. She has pursued extensive additional training, including Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1), Perinatal Grief and Loss, and is Canadian Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (CC-PMH).
Her integrative therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Yoga Therapy, and Art Therapy. Amy works with children and teens (ages 10+), families navigating relationship and family dynamics, and individuals during the prenatal and postpartum periods.
Amy is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and reconnect with their strengths to support lasting emotional well-being.
