In their own words
As a mental health provider, Ana has a strong clinical background in discussing
women’s issues, aiding with trauma, assisting young adults and university
students with transition periods or everyday concerns, navigating the high-
demand sports world and analyzing performance activity, ensuring a healthy
mindset, motivation, and helping with low mood or stress, as well as with
relationship problems.
She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor
(CCC), with a master’s degree and research experience in human development,
diversity, as well as cognitive psychology.
Ana offers a positive, collaborative, client-centred approach during her practice.
She understands the importance of cultural humility, neuro-affirming care, and
LGBTQI2SA+ experiences.
Ana will work to blend Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques with
Arts-based approaches, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT), while increasing your somatic awareness. She can also provide you with
simple, research-based skills to improve your day-to-day life and offer ample
opportunity for self-reflection during sessions.
Outside of the office, you can find Ana at a coffee shop with friends, hiking a trial,
taking care of her family, cuddling with her cat, and reading. (Please feel free to
recommend any literature to her; she will definitely consume it, if she hasn’t read
it already!)
She looks forward to meeting you and getting to know your story further!
