IPL provides long-term hair reduction, not guaranteed permanent hair removal. Results vary depending on hormones, medications, hair type, skin type, hair growth cycles, and individual response to treatment. Some hormonal hair growth may continue, and maintenance sessions may be needed over time.
Hair grows in different stages, and IPL is only effective on hairs in the active growth stage at the time of treatment. In some cases, what may appear to be “fuller regrowth” can actually be a different stage of hair growth becoming active and needing to be targeted in future sessions. Lower treatment settings may also impact overall effectiveness and results.
