My journey into physiotherapy began in high school after suffering several injuries as a multisport athlete. Having undergone reconstructive surgery for a knee injury I sustained playing basketball, my rehabilitation journey not only helped me return to the sport I loved but also inspired my passion for helping others recover from injuries. I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Physical Therapy, which solidified my interest in the field. This experience sparked a special interest in treating knees, and I find it incredibly rewarding to support my patients in returning to their favorite activities.
I enjoy the variety that comes with working in both acute care and private practice, where I can combine my clinical expertise with a personalized, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation. My academic background includes research focused on youth recovering from sport-related knee injuries, which has further deepened my understanding of the physical and psychological challenges of injury recovery.
Outside the clinic, I stay active as a group fitness instructor, helping others reach their health and fitness goals. I love hiking, snowboarding, playing volleyball, and strength training. When I’m not moving, you can usually find me exploring Edmonton’s vibrant food scene—whether it’s trying a new restaurant or hunting for the city’s best dessert!
As a physiotherapist, I see myself as a coach, working alongside my patients and collaborating with them to understand their unique goals and challenges. My role is to empower you by providing the support, guidance, and tools necessary for your recovery. Together, we’ll focus on building strength and confidence to get you back to doing what you love most.
