Andrea Sinhuber, RMT
She has completed her 3000-hour RMT diploma at the
Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. She is an
active member of the College of Massage Therapists of
British Columbia and the Massage Therapy Association
of BC. She is also an experienced Birth and Postpartum
Doula. She holds an in-depth understanding of the
emotional and physical transition associated with a
pregnant woman's body and the adjustment to
motherhood.
"Throughout my practice as a doula, I became
inquisitive about the body and its anatomy. I wanted to
understand deeper why pain and dysfunction can
linger within the body's complex structures and how to
help support my clients while they heal. These
questions lead me to a career as an RMT.
I have a particular interest in helping to restore and
release tissues for optimal mobility and overall better
health. Techniques, in particular, Biodynamic Fascial
Integration, manual therapy involving - osteopathic
techniques, fascial mobilization, craniosacral therapy,
and visceral manipulation have had the most
significant outcome with my clients.
When I'm not working hard to help others, I spend time
with my family, cooking, cycling and hiking in the
mountains.
I look forward to serving the East Kootenays Tuesdays - Fridays."
