About Andrew
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Andrew has always been drawn to exploring and expressing the complexities of the human experience. Before entering the world of psychotherapy, he spent many years as a professional actor across Western Canada, deepening his understanding of emotion, connection, and the human condition.
After returning to Thunder Bay, Andrew earned his Master of Social Work from Lakehead University and has spent the past seven years supporting individuals, couples, and groups as a psychotherapist. While his original goal was to create safe spaces for men to explore their mental health, Andrew now works with teens and adults of all genders. He is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, whether rooted in trauma, addiction, or relationship stress.
Andrew’s approach is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative. He draws from a wide range of modalities to meet each client where they are, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness practices, Polyvagal Theory, and Psychodrama.
Andrew brings a calm presence, a deep respect for personal stories, and a commitment to helping clients move toward healing, insight, and authentic connection.
