Ashley graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College.
Prior to a career in Massage Therapy, Ashley worked as a Personal Trainer, providing one-on-one fitness sessions across various age groups, genders, and fitness/injury levels. The ability to assist her clients in making positive change, profoundly influenced her decision in becoming a Registered Massage Therapist.
Ashley has experience in treating clients with a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to postural dysfunctions, headaches/migraines, chronic pain, repetitive strain injuries, post-surgical, and TMJ disorders. She integrates manual therapy techniques ranging from myofascial release, trigger point release, PNF stretching, joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), along with a variety of Swedish massage techniques.
Ashley tailors treatment plans in order to best suit her clients' goals and activity levels. She values and welcomes open communication from her clients regarding what is effective for their bodies along with exploring different approaches to achieve the desired therapeutic outcome.
In Ashley’s free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, going to the gym for a weighting training session or snuggled up on the couch with her cats watching a Canucks game.
Ashley direct bills to Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Canada Life, Manulife, Greenshield, SSQ and Empire Life.
